Reed Media is a social media consultancy that offers training and advice on digital marketing strategy to a wide range of organizations, from large corporates to small businesses. We’re a small team with a lot of exerience, and particular expertise in the publishing, charity and NGO sectors, but help businesses across a range of sectors succeed with their digital strategy and social media marketing.
Our clients include large publishers such as Pearson, HarperCollins, Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press, as well as small independent publishers and trade bodies such as Publishing Scotland and ALPSP. We also work with charities and NGOs, such as the Big Lottery Fund and vInspired, and with small businesses from accountants to ticketing providers; plus individuals, such as authors and journalists. We run in-house training for organizations, and workshops that anyone can book onto. Our consultancy services include auditing (including our digital marketing ‘health check’), market research, strategic advice, social media marketing plans, social media management and content development including blogs, podcasts and video. We also offer web design and branding services.

Jon started Reed Media in 2006 after a 10-year career in publishing, including as publishing director at McGraw-Hill. He wrote Get Up to Speed with Online Marketing, lectures at several universities, and runs in-house training and workshops on social media.
His blog Publishing Talk is a learning resource for authors and publishers, and has one of the most followed Twitter accounts in publishing. Jon also enjoys taking photographs, writing screenplays and live-tweeting #TheArchers.

Claudio is a digital product and content strategist with over 15 years in the industry. As former Head of Digital for Europe’s largest funding body, he has senior level expertise in developing cutting edge, transformative strategies for global brands and charities.
Claudio has led outstanding teams and nurtured many large scale agile projects from initial concept through to award-winning campaigns. His passion is humanising the digital experience with the end user at the centre.
